History

Coffee from the Tolima region of Colombia is renowned for its exceptional quality and unique flavour profile, thanks to the geographical and climatic conditions of the area. Grown in the Andes Mountains, at altitudes ranging from 1,200 to 2,000 meters above sea level. In addition to its organoleptic characteristics, Tolima coffee has a history deeply rooted in Colombia’s coffee culture. This region has gained international recognition for its commitment to sustainability and organic production, with many coffee farmers adopting environmentally friendly farming practices.

El café del Tolima se cultiva en pequeñas parcelas por comunidades campesinas, indígenas y afrodescendientes, en 38 municipios. Es la tercera región con mas producción del país.
